My friend Wayne and I floated Young's Creek down the the South fork of the Flathead River, and from there north through the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. We caught a few fish along the way. It was not all smooth sailing -- lots of logjams and downed timber to deal with.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Blackfoot Challenge, and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks had their annual swan reintroduction release near Ovando. We helped out in the education program afterwards.
